The Bristol Student of the Year Awards is a brand new initiative for the Bristol area.
The awards will teach employability skills and test students’ creativity and talent.
Created by business in conjunction with local schools, the awards will be a city-wide competition which will challenge enterprising students and support them in increasing their understanding of the key skills required to work in a business environment.
We believe that these awards are an important initiative for Bristol. We need to invest in the young talent that we have, in order to ensure that Bristol remains at the forefront of innovation and economic growth. We also need to develop links between education and the business world. This event will also help to promote local small businesses.
The event is open to students in Years 12 and 13 who are attending state schools and colleges in the Bristol area.
